The Boat

1972 Venture 21 (V-1549)
The people are Matt & Jessie; my kids. The water is Crumpton
Bay on the upper reaches of the Chester River, a tributary of the
Chesapeake Bay. It looks like a nice body of water, but looks are
deceiving. At low tide, outside a narrow channel, Crumpton Bay seems
to have a mean depth of about 12 inches (although the muck is several
feet deep). Hard sailing.
