The Speech Research
Laboratory at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children is looking for
families of children with speech disorders involving articulation to
participate in a research study on the possible genetic origins of
speech disorders. If your family is an English speaking household, and
you have a normal-hearing child between 5 and 9 years old who has trouble saying consonants like ‘r’,
‘s’, ‘k’, or others, your family may be eligible for participation.
Families who are accepted into and complete the study will be paid
$100. If you are interested and think your family may be
eligible, please call (302) 651-6699, or email
spgen@nemours.org, or visit
