Studies in Progress

 * Interpretation in Augmented Conversation
Familiar partners often interpret the utterances of augmented communicators during conversation. It may be advantageous for an AAC system to model this type of interactive negotiation of meaning.

We will be comparing two scenarios:

  • AAC user -- interviewer
  • AAC user -- familiar interpreter -- interviewer
