About the Natural Language Interfaces Group The Natural Language Interfaces (NLI) Group encompasses several laboratories that are involved in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) research. AAC systems help people with severe disabilities to communicate. The NLI group is interested in improving the efficiency and usability of current AAC devices as well as discovering novel ways in which to aid communication.
